We've all watched some TV in our lives, some more than others. I'm a fan of TV watching myself as I have a few shows that I just can't miss each week (The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, House of Cards). I've also watched many TV shows online via Netflix. Other sites like Hulu or iTunes allow you to watch TV shows and you can find a ton of stuff to watch on YouTube. As technology advances, we're seeing more and more content placed on the web that you can stream anytime you want. You can subscribe to the NFL Network and watch any football game on your phone so even live sports are being watched online.
For this week's blog post, I'd like you to think about this and decide whether or not you think TV as we know it will still exist in say 10 years. Do you think we'll still see TV shows as we do now on TV , at scheduled times? Or will everything be "on demand"? Will our phones and tablets be our TVs? In many ways they already are but will we still sit around the television at 7 pm on Monday night to watch, "The Voice"?
