With the 1st quarter project due soon as well as a bunch of Inside Scoops, many, if not all of you, are feeling the pressure begin to build. How do you deal with stress? What do you do to calm yourself or to "not stress out"? Share your tips in your required blog topic for this week and you may end up helping a classmate!
For this week's blog post, I'd like you to fill me in on where you are with your 1st quarter project. Are you ahead in your work, on target to finish on time, or behind and need to catch up? Choose one and give me two or three reasons why you feel this way if you are ahead or on track. If you are behind, you need to add another paragraph explaining what your plans are to get yourself caught up to meet the October 1st deadline. o
Now that you've had the laptops and have been able to use them, I'd like this week's blog post to be a thank you letter to Uncle Toyo and the Murayama Ohana for their extremely generous donation to purchase those MacBook Pros for all of you. Be sure to explain in your letter how having your own laptop to use, will greatly benefit you and your work this year. If you were here last year, you can compare how it was with having to share and do lottery drawings each quarter to see who was lucky enough to be able to use our few laptops. You can also talk about the new version of Final Cut Pro that we are all able to move into. Think of all the ways you can use this new laptop to help you with your work and be sure to explain them so that he and his ohana can understand what a difference this is making in our class this year. I'm sure they would all love to hear about how their donation has and will help you in our class.
Once we start this week of school, every student will have had a chance to work the CKTV News show. My required blog post for this week will revolve around this topic. What's been your experience like, working on the CKTV News? Good? Bad? Ok? Tell me about your experience so far and what it's been like to also either train some of the new students, or learn how to do your particular job, for all you newbies.
