For this week's required blog post, I'd like you to think ahead to this weekend's camp. What three things will you do to make this weekend a successful one? You know that our theme for the camp is "Ohana Means Family." What will you do to support this theme of ohana? I look forward to seeing your responses!
For this week's blog post, tell me about your project and how you are doing. Are you ahead the game, on track, or behind schedule? Pick one and give me three reasons why you feel that way. I hope the weekend went well for all those that filmed! Good luck!
We're into our third week of school now and I'm curious....what's been the most challenging thing to get used to so far? Is it your new partner? Is it having to move into being a mentor this year? Is it this class if you're a newbie? What's the most challenging thing you've had to get used to so far and give me three reasons why it's been a challenge to deal with.
Now that we're into our second full week of school and our websites are created, it's now time to begin work on your weekly blogs. You will be assigned a new topic each Monday right here in my blog. For my assigned topic, you will need to follow the constructed response format of writing 5 paragraphs: intro, 3 reasons to support your answer, and then a conclusion. You need to explain each reason thoughtfully. Just listing your reason without anything to back it up will not work. Go and read some of your classmates' blogs from last year. Here are a few to check out: Brandon and Alaysia. Also check out my blog guidelines here.
For this week's topic, I'd like you to tell me how your first week in media class went. How is it working with your new partner? Were you stressed about learning your job for the morning announcements? Were you able to figure out how to use Weebly ok? Some of you even had a radio to do! Tell me how your first week or so of media went and give me three reasons to back up your answer.
I currently teach Advanced Media Production, Beginning Media Production, the Yearbook Class, two Intro to Computing - iPad Classes, and I am also the school's technology coordinator. You can say I wear many hats here at CKMS!
