Holy smokes! It's the 4th quarter! Where did the time go? It's a new quarter and you know what that means....new goals to strive for to end the year. What are your goals for this last quarter of the year? For some of you, this will be your last quarter in CKTV. Many of you will go on to the high school or another class next year and many will return. What will your goals be in the 4th quarter? Be sure to not only tell me what they are but also explain what possible road blocks there are in their way and how you plan on getting past them.
Unfortunately, it looks like I will be out on Wednesday as Mia is still not feeling better. Here are your instructions for Wednesday's class. First, your STN team will need to unpack your gear and check off all of the items you brought up with you to make sure they all came back home. I want your inventory sheets signed off and submitted to your sub for the day. Next, you will check on our Google Classroom site and do your self evaluation on your blogs/vlogs for the 3rd quarter. Note that there are two forms to fill out, one for the first half of the quarter and one for the second half. Both need to be done and submitted by Friday at the latest. Some of you forget to submit them when you are done. Be sure you turn them in via Google Classroom. Finally, radios for this week, your new blog/vlog topic above, and your 4th quarter project need to be worked on. If you missed any blog while on the trip (sick days don't count, just be sure to post a blog but put "Sick on (the date)" so I know you were excused from doing a blog that day. Welcome back to school and let's end the year on a high note! Don't be lazy now!

Hey Guys! Miss us yet? Things must be really quiet around there without some of your very loud classmates! I hope you're progressing well in your final project. For your last blog topic of the quarter, I'd like you to tell me about your plans for the upcoming Spring Break later this week. What are your plans? Are you going anywhere or doing anything special? Do you have any plans to get started on your final project? Enjoy your time off and we'll see you when we get back!
For Ben and Dylan, your blog topic this week is to provide me with an update on your 4th quarter project. What did you decide to do and how do you plan on doing it? What are some challenges you think you'll face and how will you overcome them?
Can you both also make sure that our large TV and our morning announcement equipment is turned off each day? When I've had subs before, I've returned to find the TV still on. Finally, as I mentioned to you in class today, make the most out of your time before the break. You have three classes to really get a head start on your final project and you don't want to waste it. Be sure you have something to work on each day. For Dylan, your questions for your interviews along with who you would interview and when would be your priority. For Ben, your priority is your script and possibly bringing in your clips to edit in class. You can also work on the 8th grade slideshow as well. Good luck and we'll see you when we get back! We wish you were coming with us but follow the blogs of your classmates to see what they are up to! Holy smokes! That was the longest encoding time ever but it's done!
