Overall I feel you all did a great job in our first Sweet 16 practice this past Saturday. While it was close, both teams made the deadline and put together some pretty decent videos in the 16 hour time frame. For many of you, it was your first time doing the Sweet 16. For this week's blog post, tell me what it was like. What did your team do well? What does your team need to work on for next time? What can YOU do to help your team improve? Only two weeks until we leave! We need to correct those mistakes now and be on top of our game in Florida!
As with all of our required blog posts after every STN practice, I'd like you to reflect on how your last practice this past Monday went. In what ways did your team improve? In what areas does your team need to work on to get better? Do you think your team is making progress? Are there still any problems that you need to work out? What about another practice session? Do you think your team needs one more before we leave?
For those of you not going on the trip, give me an update on your PSA and how you are progressing. Are you on schedule to make the deadline?
As I mentioned in class, this week's blog post needs to be about our 3rd STN Practice that we held on Saturday. In some cases, we improved and unfortunately in others, we got worse. What can you and your team do to improve your 4th practice coming up on Monday? What did your group not do that could have made a difference in your outcome? What suggestions will you bring to your group to help make some improvements? We are running out of time to get better and we cannot keep making the same mistakes. We can do this! Hiki No!
For this week's blog post, we're going to do something a little different. It won't be connected to media (or it may depending on your answer). I'd like you to think back in your life so far and tell me what was the most difficult decision you ever had to make. Why was it a difficult decision? Did it affect others besides yourself? Were you afraid of disappointing someone you cared about? We all make multiple decisions every day of our lives. Some are easy to make while others are a struggle. I'm interesting in knowing what was your hardest decision, why it was difficult, and what impact it had on you. Good luck!
